Some other authors that I enjoy are

C.S.Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, Roger Zelazny's Amber Series, David Eddings

I'm not really into Harlequins or romance writers much, but I do enjoy the following:

Madeleine Brent, Victoria Holt, Phyllis Whitney, and some Mary Higgins Clark

From my childhood, I still love Madeline L'Engle

Because I teach elementary school, I still read plenty of children's literature. I enjoy being part of helping the children participate in choosing the Utah Children's Book Awards.

Other authors of children's book that I enjoy are: Bill Wallace, Gary Paulsen, Lynne Reid Banks, Bruce Coville, Lois Lowry, Phyllis Reynolds Naylor and of course, there are the famous Newbery and Caldecott winners!
