Altai

Altai (lehen Gorno Altai). Errusiako errepublika autonomoa. Azalera: 92.600 km2. Biztanleak: 196.000. Hiriburua: Altaisk (40.000 biz.). Etniak: Jatorrizko altaitarrak %25 baino gutxiago dira beren errepublikan, %75 inguru errusiarrak dira. Hizkuntzak: Errusiera ofiziala da, eta bi "laneko hizkuntza" daude ezagutuak" Altaiera eta Ingelesa (!). Erlijioak: Altaitarrak kristau ortodoxoak edo budistak dira.

Altay

Altay (formerly Gorno Altay or High Altay). Autonomous republic within Russia. 196,000 inhabitants, of which, less than 25% are native Altays, speakers of a Turkic language. The rest are mostly Russians. In this republic Russian is the official language, but two languages (Altay and English!) have the status of "working languages". Altay people are christian orthodox or bhuddists.
