Oraingo izen errusiar batzuek --now: marka daramate, "orain"-- kazakherara hurbilarazitako ortografia berriak dauzkate. Era berean "formerly" (lehen) hitzarekin markatu ditugu Kazakherazko izen batzuk, aro sobietarrean errusieraren antzeko ortografia zutenak.

Some current Russian names --marked by (now: )-- are "nativised" new forms that have been re-spelled and resemble more Kazakh names. At the same time we have added the word "formerly" to Kazakh names in () which in the Soviet era had a more Russified spelling.
