Turkmenistan

Sobiet Batasuna zeneko taula gehiago hemen.
Errusierazko izenak transliteratuak ageri dira hemen, turkmenerazko iturri zirilikoetatik hartu dira, baina 1996an erabiltzen hasi diren alfabeto latino berrira moldatu ditugu (ikus Alphabet Street atala). Zeinu diakritiko bereziak ASR sistemarekin adieraziak ageri dira.
g· [puntua goian ] c< [caron]
î eta û idazten dugu berez i¯ eta u¯ [macron] behar zuen tokian. Beste konbentzio batzuk: [$] S + marra bertikalarekin adierazteko, [¢] c + marra bertikala, [¥] Y + marra horizontala, eta [ÿ] y + marra horizontala

Check other tables from the former Soviet Union. Russian names appear transliterated here; Turkmen ones come from cyrillic sources, but they have been adapted to the new Latin script used since 1996 (Check the Alphabet Street section). Some diacritics are written in ASR system.
g· [dot above] c< [caron]
For simplicity î and û are used instead of i¯ and u¯ [macron], as well as $ for S with vertical bar, ¢ for c with vertical bar, ¥ for Y with horizontal bar, and ÿ for y with horizontal bar

Tukrmenistan

4.2 m biz. Hiriburua: Axkhabad. Hizkuntzak: Turkmenera (official, 2.8 m), errusiera (470.000), uzbekera (340.000). Etniak: Turkmenak (%72), errusiarrak (%9.5), uzbekak (%9), kazakhak (%1.5). Turkmenistan hizkuntza berreskuratzen ari da, eta bere jatorrizko hizkuntzako toki izenak errusierazkoen ordez ari dira hedatzen orain. Uzbekistango toki batzuetan ere mintzatzen dira turkmeneraz, eta mini-taula bat dugu behean hiru izenekin.

Oraingo izen errusiar batzuek --now: marka daramate, "orain"-- kazakherara hurbilarazitako ortografia berriak dauzkate.

Turkmenistan

4.2 m inhabitants. Capital: Ashkhabad. Languages: Turkmen (official, 2.8 m), russian (470.000), uzbek (340.000). Ethnic composition: Turkmen (%72), russians (%9.5), uzbek (%9), kazakh (%1.5). Turkmenistan is recovering its language, and its native toponymy is substituting Russian names. Turkmen is also spoken in parts of Uzbekistan, and we have just a little table below with three names for those places.

Some current Russian names --marked by (now: )-- are "nativised" new forms that have been re-spelled and resemble more Turkmen names.

Put 3 entries in a separate table below as they refer to placenames in Uzbekistan.
