Richmond, Va., as Assistant Medical Officer of the 43d Regiment Georgia Infantry, April
21, 1864 to August 22, 1864. Surrendered at Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865, a Surgeon,
40th Battn. Ga. Infantry.
Brown, Aaron P.- Appointed Assistant Surgeon of the 2nd Regiment Ga. Inf. May 23,
1861. Resigned November 21, 1861. Ap-pointed A. Q. M. of the 43rd Regiment Ga. Inf. March
20, 1862. Dropped on account of non-execution of his bond October 25, 1862.
Newman, Henry A.- A. Q. M. April 30, 1863 (to rank from February 6, 1863) Recommended
for Brigade Quartermaster of Stovall's Brigade January 22, 1865. Surrendered as Captain
& A. Q. M., Hill's Division, at Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865.
Allen, William N.- Quartermaster Sergeant July 1, 1862. Wounded in right arm,
necessitating amputation, at Vicksburg, Miss. July 3, 1863 Retired without duty
