HOREBEKE


HOREBEKE is a town in South-East-Flanders (Belgium) formed by two villages: Sint-Kornelis-Horebeke and Sint-Maria-Horebeke. It has about 1,800 inhabitants. It is located about 30 kilometer from the City of Gent, and about 8 kilometer from the City of Oudenaarde. The main road running through Horebeke is the N454, which leads to the N8, the national road between the City of Oudenaarde and the Town of Brakel.

Description of the flag:

Or, a double edge, with eight fleur-de-lys sinople; over it a chevron gules. The fleur-de-lys at the corners point outwards, the fleur-de-lys in the middle of each side inwards. The chevron touches the inner edge at the middle of the upper part. Proportions are 2:3 and approximately 10:3:3:3:42:3:3:3:10 for the edges. The flag was Adopted on March 11, 1986 (1).
