Faery Plants


Alyssum-(Alyssum spp.) Alyssum may be hung in the home to protect the inhabitants from Faery "glamour".

Clover-(Trifolium spp.) Placing seven grains of wheat on a Four-Leaf Clover may enable one to see Faeries.

Gorse-(Ulex europaeus) In Wales, Gorse has been grown in hedges to protect homes from Faeries.

Hawthorn-(Crataegus oxacantha) Sacred to Faeries; where Oak, Ash and "Thorn" (Hawthorn) grow                                                                    together, one might encounter Faeries.

Peony-(Paeonia officinalis) Peony seeds or roots may be hung around children's necks to protect them from                                                      Faeries.

Primrose-(Primula vulgaris) Gowing blue and red Primroses in your garden may attract Faeries.

Rose-(Rosa spp.) Roses, too, may bring Faeries to your garden.

Rosemary-(Rosemarinus officinalis) Rosemary is said to attract Elves.

Straw- Straw is also favored by Faeries.

Thyme-(Thymus vulgaris) Wear Thyme to see Faeries.
