Reverends of Calvary Chapel
To God Be The Glory The Reverends on this page were not resident rectors, but all served the communicants of Calvary Chapel. They maintained their home congregations, and withstood many hardships to minister to the people of Buffalo. Rev. George J. Childs Rev. J. C. Ferrier Rev. A. H. Beer Rev. Homer R. Harrington Rev. T. A .Simpson Services became less frequent as the congregation dwindled, but the picturesque stone chapel had indeed accomplished what Bishop Walker had said it would. Fierce and undying loyalty. Services were held for as few as two or three on occasions, and sometimes only a few times a year. But many refused to give up what was a source of faith and devotion. The great depression was the event that sealed the fate of the small congregation. In 1934, the doors of Calvary Church were closed for the last time.
