Two-lined dragon

The two-lined dragon, Diporiphora bilineata (family Agamidae), is a common terrestrial dragon-lizard varying in colour from grey to brown to reddish-brown to almost black. It has conspicuous pale grey and yellow stripes on its back. It is common in the savannah woodland and dry sclerophyll forests of central Cape York Peninsula. It is primarily terrestrial but easily climbs tree trunks, etc.
