First Settlers

Native Americans were here first. Here's a new project concerning land deeds in Essex County. (Map).

At present I don't have a list of the first settlers that moved the five miles from Salem Town to Salem Village/Danvers in 1638; if you do, please send it aong, it would be greatly appreciated. Below you'll find the founding members of the official Salem Village Church.
