Kyra double-Q'd and also got two FIRST PLACE Ribbons in agility today, running in Open Preferred and Open JWW Preferred. Jumpers was first, and she ran clean but was 3 seconds over time, so she lost 6 pts. She ran even better in the standards class, getting a clean run and finishing 1 second under the standard course time (6 seconds under the Preferred course time). Not bad for a nearly 9-year-old Curly that just had surgery last month. 6/20/2005 SR, U-CH, UAG1, CH Soft Maple Kyrabean Queen, CD, U-CD, OAJ, OA, NA, NAJ, NAP, NJP, OAP, RN, JH, WCX, WC (WCI, WC), TT, TDI, CGC had two qualifying runs in AKC agility with third and a fourth place earning her Open Jumpers Preferred Title. OJP 8/6/2005 Kyra (SR, U-CH, UAG1, CH Soft Maple Kyrabean Queen, CD, U-CD, OAJ, OA, NA, NAJ, NAP, NJP, OAP, RN, JH, WCX, WC (WCI, WC), TT, TDI, CGC) earned her 21st title. She completed her OAP (Open Agility Preferred) title with a 2nd place ribbon. Kyra's father, Am & Can Ch Pasha N Charwin's Black Jack Am & Can WC was Best of Winners at the 1991 National Specialty and Judges Award of Merit at the 1996 and 1997 CCRCA National Specialties. Jack is a multiple group placer in the United States and Canada.

Her grandfather, BISS Ch. Ptarmigan Walk The Wild Side (Teddy) was a multi group placer who won the first AKC recognized CCR National Specialty (1994)

Kyra was a main influence in helping her mother CH Avanti's Best Bet CGC CD ROM, ROMX (Betty) earn her Register of Merit award. The ROMX is awarded to Curlies who have offspring titled in obedience, field and conformation.
