Much of the confusion about Kung Fu Cult Master has been caused by these forms of the movie. The video distributors released the movie on 2 cassettes. Some rental retailers charge per cassette instead of one price for the entire film.

The laserdisc version is a 3-sided CLV from Mei Ah Laser Disc Co.,Ltd. Disc one [side A & side B] is labeled "1" and disc two [side C] is labeled "2" in the credits or title frame of the film.
