Welcome to the UMDF, Southern California Support Group!

We are a support group of parents of Mitochondrial children and some adults with Mitochondrial disorders.
We try to meet each month and have a good time, get some great information, meet new friends and get a lot of support from people
who have been or are going through this same very difficult process.
Just having someone understand when you tell them, "My child has a Mitochondrial Disorder," is a benefit all in its own. The relief you feel when you see the understanding in their eyes is a wonderful comfort.
