The purpose of this page is to provide an interface to the hungarian-faq - a document describing various electronic resources of Hungarian interest.

My goal here is to provide information to the widest range of users, including those who do not have (or want) the tools for dealing with flashy graphics and other fads of the Web-craze of the week. The emphasis of this page, as well as of the main document is going to be on giving simple textual reference - although the FAQ will be available in true hypertext form in the not too distant future (and versions converted to HTML already exist, see below)!

To better serve those using email-only connection, a "Hungarian email pointer" has been prepared.

Note that in order to focus the main body of the hungarian-faq, the chapter dealing with WWW-only resources has been moved into its own "Hungarian WWW information FAQ" posted separately.

There are two more related FAQs posted separately and available here (as well as in the Usenet archives): "Hungarian broadcast information FAQ" and "Hungarian Commercial On-Line Services".
