David Grant Medical Center and this pharmacy serve as a training site for PharmD. candidates from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy.  This pharmacy also has an accredited Pharmacy Residency Program which is overseen by the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy.  

 Students in their fifth year of pharmacy school learn valuable skills during their clinical rotation and frequently prepare scholarly papers as a part of their overall education.  These papers are presented with the permission of the student.
