Many asked about a Risk game that can be played over the internet, and I have searched and searched for one (other than the one you have to buy), and have only been able to find one for Unix/Linux. If you know of others, please let me know.

'NetRisk' is a real-time game for up to six players. It is Shareware, and
available at many sites, including:

JRisk - a Java based Web game. (you might even recognize the map he's using... wonder where he got it)
Global Diplomacy's another web based game that you might want to check out. I read the description and it sounds like fun, even though it's not Risk. It's a 'play-by-email' game. Also look at Age of Discovery on the same page
