For your listening pleasure, "Aquarius" (From the musical, Hair)
Hello, I am April (nicknamed "Ape"), of Ape's Flower Power Shar-Pei. My husband Marty and I adopted our first Shar-Pei child 19 years ago, but were completely blown away by our first Flowered Shar-Pei, Skye, 9 years ago. Now we have a thing for "spots!" The Flowered Shar-Pei, referred to in some kennel clubs as the Chinese Flowered Dog, has a coat that is at least 50% white, with another color forming spots and ticking. Flowered Shar-Pei have a quite striking appearance! The current AKC Breed Standard for the Shar-Pei calls for a solid colored coat, therefore, at this time these dogs are disqualified from the Conformation showring. These beautiful dogs are growing in popularity, so please visit all of our web site to see what the fuss is about. Let your heart decide if this lovely Flowered variety of the Shar-Pei is "faulted", or not. Thanks for stopping by!
