Tammy
| Tammy and I met in college. Her brother and I lived on the same dormitory floor. We met several times during my first two years there when she would come with her parents to visit him. She entered her freshman year at the start of my junior year. We spent some time together with her brother and our other friends during the fall semester. | ||

The middle part of December 1979 came and with it the annual Winter Formal sponsored by the women's dormitory that Tammy lived in. One day, her brother dropped into my dorm room and asked my roommate to come out into the hall for a moment. I was curious, because my roommate wasn't a friend of his. Tammy slipped into the room as they went out. Somehow during the next ten minutes, she asked me to the Winter Formal and I agreed. |

I moved off campus and began a work assignment with the local power company. Tammy and I continued to date throughout 1980. Summer Semester didn't go well for me and I ended up having to take a number of classes over the following year. |

Tammy and I were married on January 17, 1981. It was a small ceremony with family and a few friends. It snowed that night and we spent our honeymoon in a round room in the Quaker Square Hilton in Akron, Ohio. The following day we moved to Illinois and I began another work assignment. | ![]() |

We moved back and forth between Akron and Illinois until I finished my degree. Tammy finished Associate Degree in Secretarial Science a year earlier. She slave away working when we were in Akron to support our family of 3 (Bill Jr. was born in August 1981). | ![]() |

After I graduated we pulled up our roots and moved to Arizona. Tammy stayed at home for the first few years until Richelle was in nursery school. She went back to work at that time as the Church Secretary. That job lasted a few years and she moved on to work as a secretary/receptionist/bookkeeper for a small computer firm. She left that sinking ship for her current job with an architectural design firm. | ![]() |

One of Tammy's many hobbies is knitting. She knits sweaters and baby outfits throughout the year. Most of them are birthday and Christmas presents for family and friends. | ![]() |
