My complete name is 'José Mejuto Porral', I was born December 1 of 1969 in Boqueixón, a little rural town located in Galicia at the northwest of Spain. I´m the only one son of Lourdes (my mother) and Pablo ( My father, dead in 1990 :-( )

I am programming since I was 14, when a friend buys a Commodore VIC-20, few months later I buy my first computer... Are you thinking in a Spectrum ? NO! :-) I buy a Jupiter ACE, one strange computer with 3 K RAM, 2 dedicated to the compiled program and 1 K. dedicated to the source code; and here is the most strangeous thing, Jupiter ACE uses Forth for programming, a language designed to move telescopies and other strangeous things :-)))

When the time pass I buy the next computers: Spectrum 48K, Amstrad PC-1512, Clone 386sx16, Clone 486/33, Clone Pentium 100 for my personal use. At this moment I am programming with two computers:
 

• Intel Pentium 200 MMX, 96 Mb, 10.4 Gb HardDisk, STB Velocity 128, CD Recorder Philips CDD-2600, CDROM Plextor 12/20x with an Adaptec AHA-2940 SCSI-2 controller, and Modem Supra Express 33.6 Sp.
• AMD K6-2 400 3D-Now!, 128 Mb, 9.2 Gb HardDisk, Matrox Millenium G200 AGP 8 Mb, Teles ISDN 16.3c, CDROM Acer 40x and an Advansys UW SCSI controller.
• The two computers are commanded by a "2 computers switcher" with a mouse Logitech, monitor 17'' Nokia Multigraph 447XPro (Trinitron tube) and a keyboard IBM Rapid Access.

Througth the years I was developed many general purpouse freeware routines for PowerBASIC (the best BASIC compiler I know), and many freeware programs for FidoNet.

Since 1993 I am a FidoNet SysOp, my NetMail address is 2:348/102, and the SysOp of -=EDI=BBS=- the older BBS for Santiago de Compostela. Throught this years in FidoNet I know many marvellous people, SysOps and points of this and other systems. In the links section you can found many links for his personal WEB pages.

You don´t know Spain ??? Oh!! That´s impossible in your next hollydays, please visit us, you can found all needed for the diversion. Ask for it in your tourist office :-)

At the last comment, I was working for free in Radio Boqueixón 107.2 FM ( a local radio station ) since June 16 of 1995 till July 1998. First in the weekly program Agora Música ('Music now') with Toni Barros. Toni holds the speakerman work and I work in the technical section; and later in "Tris-Tras" a Saturday morning show, with Javier and Patricia. If you have the opportunity of experience the radio, don´t doubt try it!

I have a marvelous girlfriend called "Chus" since 10 July 1996. Oh! yes!, I´m in love :-)))). Sorry, but she don´t want have a photo in my page... I'm trying to convince her.

(project finished) My radio show 'Agora Musica' has dead in middle December 1997, but I will come back. Now I´m developing an automatic software that spin hits all the night in 'Radio Boqueixón'. Yes!, an automated DJ ;-) using MPEG Layer III technology.
