A LITTLE TOUCH OF IRELAND

Welcome to our Irish Links page for those who are looking for a clue as to where their ancestors originated! Migration from the "Emerald Isle" was never easy and the millions of countrymen and women who emigrated during the "Great Famine" was a memorable experience for them - as well as their ancestors! How brave some of them must have been, to leave home and family so familiar to them. They ventured forth to travel under sometimes horrible conditions to arrive in a country with ways that were foreign to them.

I have found these sites listed very helpful to me in my research and wish all who utilize this page the best of luck with these sites.

An old Irish saying: "May the road rise up to greet you and may the sun be ever at your back, and may you get to Heaven thirty minutes before the Devil knows you're dead!"

ERIN GO BRAGH!
