MetallicA's
latest album ReLoad came out on the 17th of November althrough Australia.
ReLoad is the "sequel" to Load. ReLoad consists of all the songs
that didn't fit onto Load. Load was presently going to be a 2 CD album
but the guys thought it would cost to much for the fans. MetallicA will
begin touring the world in March/April 1998, starting off in Australia.
Over the rest of the year they will travel the world, kickin' the ass's
of whoever may roam with them.

These dates are rough and are likely to change due to shedules etc. Don't rely on these for actual dates, they're what Lars said! The 1998 ReLoad tour will be starting around March 28 in Australia. The stage will be "in the round" so the audience will be on every side of the stage. The stage is said to cost over a million to construct so I presume it will be great!

Metallica went on tour across the US from January until late May. If you missed out on their concert, here's a little description for you. I went to the one in Tampa, Florida that they gave on April the 18th in the Ice Palace and it was awesome!!! The place was packed with devoted old and new fans. After COC's performance, Metallica stepped up and the bottom floor turned into a mosh pit. Explosions were going off everywhere, people were swinging off of the lighting poles, and a guy ran across the stage covered in flames! Besides that, Metallica gave one heck of a great performance! After it was officially over, fans chanted Metallica back twice for an anchor!
