The Doors weren't only a band of music, but a band of mystery and mind manipulation. Not since 1966 has anyone ever heard the groovy grueling sound the Doors gave the music industry. Never again will a mystic keyboard join a heavy drum beat as the doors composed. The psycadelic bottleneck guitar and lyrics from the realms of death will never even be attempted again. These four gentleman brought the feelings of life into their music like no band before. Most of the Doors beginning shows in L.A. were more like scenes from a flim rather then the music people came to hear. Instead of clapping, most audiences stayed glued to their seats in complete aw. Often, Morrison would lay on the ground in complete remorse without singing a word and highly stoned on acid. The improvision at their earlier shows at the Whisky a Go Go became much of the material for the first album. The Doors didn't play early sixties melodys, they were a living dream of "the best part of the trip." The Doors became rock legends, as did Morrison; for his incredible voice still echos today and was a treasure to be captured on tape. As the lizard king once said, "there will never be another one...like you!"
