Welcome to the Mentors Page for the Titus 2 Online Ministry

If you are a Christian woman between the ages of one and one hundred, we have a place for you!

Our goal here is to encourage spiritual growth in you, the Christian woman, so that you have the joyful, peaceful home that God intended for you to have. In so doing, we will fulfill our ultimate goal--that our wonderful Heavenly Father receives the glory and honor that He so deserves!

Our ministry reaches out to all ladies all across the world. There are no cultural barriers within the family of God. We have mentors who specialize in all areas of life's needs. If you have a specific need, we have a group for you.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our current mentors. As of July 2000 we run 8 individual cell-groups that have from 10-25 ladies in each group. Just click on the mentor's name to learn more about her individually and to also get a better idea of her goals for her group. If you find that you would like to be a part of a particular group, a sign up box is provided on each page.

Lynn Bolser and Ruth Hollands-Growing Together in Christ

Lynn and Ruth, two godly sisters in the Lord, have merged their former groups into one, Growing Together in Christ. This group is made up of Christian women from different backgrounds who are united in the desire to become increasingly the women God intends them to be and who want to learn more by studying the Bible together. Babes in Christ and single sisters are also encouraged to be a part of this group.

Cindy Warner-Encouraging Sisters

Cindy's desire is to mentor other Christian women with a focus on child training, dating, teenagers, and strengthening the bonds of marriage.

Kim Turner-Daughters of the King and Wives in the Gap

Kim's areas of special interest are home education, living with an unsaved husband, miscarriage and raising teenagers. Effective October 21, 1999 Kim has started a second list called, "Wives in the Gap." This is a ministry especially for Christian women with unsaved husbands.

Heather Penner and Ruth Hollands-Doors of Hope

Doors of Hope is an online group for Christian women who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage or neo-natal birth and is especially for women who are in the process of trying to conceive again or are already pregnant. The main purpose of this group is to to give Christian support and understanding and to encourage women to trust our Heavenly Father Who has promised "a hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Heather is married and has two living children. She lost a baby between 16 and 20 weeks gestation. The Lord has given Heather a deeper relationship with Him than she ever knew before Isaac's death and she is striving to nurture that relationship and remain close to Him. Her desire is to encourage women whose hearts have been broken by the loss of a baby to reach out to the Lord and find in Him the strength that they need to carry them through.

Ruth has also lost a child to miscarriage. After adopting a 10 month old little boy, the Lord later blessed Ruth with two sons of her own. To learn more about Ruth please visit http://www.reocities.com/rthmhlds/index.html

Doors of Hope homepage is under construction. If you would like to join Doors of Hope, you may write to Ruth at: Ruth@hollands99.fsnet.co.uk or by visiting Ruth's homepage at the link above.

JoEllen Oliver-Lydia Ladies

JoEllen is equipped to help in many areas: miscarriage/infant loss, abuse and neglect situations, home organizing, homeschool setup, special needschildren (ADD/ADHD), and modest dress for Christian women. One of her greatest desires is to help re-educate families that all children are a gift from God. She has personally had a tubal ligation reversal. JoEllen was an adopted child and is available to minister in that area also.

Nancy Penfield-Tears into Joy

At age 33, Nancy became a widow when her husband, Jan, died suddenly at age 36. Although she is now remarried, her desire is to mentor and encourage Christian women who are presently a widow or have been one in the past.

Mending Hearts-Sharlene Libby and Elaine Riley

Mending Hearts exists because the Lord does just that! He does indeed mend broken hearts. We want you to know how sorry we are that your heart was broken by the loss of a child. We each know from our own experiences that this is a very painful thing.

Sharlene's son, Joseph, was stillborn during her 36th week of pregnancy. At times the sorrow was almost overwhelming, but through the pain she experienced God's love and comfort more strongly than she ever thought possible. He gave her strength to endure and brought joy back into her life.

Elaine has experienced several pregnancy losses and continues to struggle with empty arms. She has had nine early miscarriages and one very premature stillbirth. God has taught her new things though each of these, and continues to teach and shape her life though her most recent loss, in March 2000.

But God is good, regardless of the circumstances of our lives, and has given both of these wonderful sisters a desire to use them to reach out though their pain to others who are hurting and share God's graceand goodness.

Sharlene and Elaine desire to walk with you through your pain and to comfort and encourage you along the way. This list has been a great source of comfort to both of us in the past. We pray it will comfort you as well. Please know that you are among Christian friends at Mending Hearts..
