Shining In The Darkness|
System: Sega Genesis
Sub-Type: Dungeon Crawl
If you like dungeon crawls, you'll probably enjoy this game. Its graphics are very good for the Genesis, it has adequate music, and it will provide a nice challenge for most role-players. There is a wide variety of weapons, armor, and monsters, but the game is a little lacking in magic and items. However, the spells are graphically pleasing, and some of the items are quite interesting. The major fault in the game is that there's only one area containing a single town, castle, and dungeon. But don't let that deter you -- the town and castle contain some intriguing NPCs, and the one dungeon is large and varied.
ADWatts' RPG Classics is intended as a visual tribute to RPGs. As such, I am using copyrighted material for this site. Except where otherwise noted, all graphics are the property of the game's creators and publishers. This site is completely non-profit, and was made because I love these games. Full credit is given to those who really deserve it in each game's section.
ADWatts' RPG Classics is also intended as a graphical aid for those playing the games. The maps and lists will hopefully help a struggling adventurer without giving away too much in the process. I would suggest using these tools only to see if you've missed something after finishing the game, or as a last resort. This site will NOT provide walkthroughs, cheats, or "game enhancement device" codes; however, links to such sources will be included for those who really need them.
