Tattoo The Earth

Well I attended Tattoo The Earth on Sunday July 30th at the Phoenix Plaza, in Pontiac MI. For Starters let me say one thing. 9/5 of the people there were Poseurs, Punks(I don't hate punks, but please can someone tell them this is not Warp Tour), Hardcore midgets, and the living dead(Freaky but I have no problem with them...). I saw a total of eight of the some fifteen bands that played. Hatebreed, Mudvayne, Downset, Full Devil Jacket, Sepultura(a dissapointment w/o Max), Sevendust, Workhorse Movement(I had to see them I support bands that started in Detroit), and of course if there was any doubt Slayer. I left before Slipknot got on stage, but fuck Slipknot(don't get me wrong I like Slipknot, but I still feel that Slayer should of headlined at least because of seniority). The set list for Slayer as I can remember was: Mandatory Suicide, War Ensemble, Here Comes the Pain, Bitter Peace, Deaths Head, Reign in Blood, Dead Skin Mask, and Stain of Mind. There was more but I left before Slayer could finish(not of my own will, but because I don't drive and if I wanted to get my ass home I had to go)... Well Slayer kicked ass and it was fun hanging with the old school fans who are almost twice my age... The best part was where I got to prove my friend Randy wrong when he said that Slayer sucks live and never play Reign in Blood anymore... In closing besides a majority of the people there and most the bands that sucked(Esham?? what the fuck!?) Tattoo the Earth was awesome and I hope it comes around next year...
