Thor

Energy 7 Fighting 5 Strength 7 Intellect 4

The Man: Well when you first see the Thor Hero card, one usually says something along the lines of "OH MY GOD". Thor has some of the most amazing stats in the game, not to mention great artwork on the card itself. His stats add up to 23, which makes the poor thunder god nearly impossible to fit into a tourney leagal deck, but just for kicks I love putting him in a deack that goes so above the tournament limit, it's stat total is closer Mr. Sinister's IQ than a deck.

The Cards behind the man:
Mjolnir Speaks AE,acts as a level 4 strength attack, may comine with one energy card for a single attack... Ok, we've all seen these, but this one has something going for it. Sure, strength and energy are Thor's main stats(DUH) but, think for a moment, what is 4 + 7? Yes, that's right 47(Forgive my outcome based education), anyway, your opponent isn't very likely to block a level 11 attack. Now don't get me wrong, you can go overboard on this one, I personally would put only one or two in a deck, overall though, this is a nice addition to Thor's specials, and very worth considering.

Power Of Asgard AQ, acts as a level 8 energy, strength, or fighting attack... This is very possibly the Thorman's best special, It's not like we all haven't seen these before, but it's either a joyous preasent from your drawpile, or a curse from your opponent's drawpile. Yes I know it doesn't have intellect, but hey, c'mon how smart do you have to be to hit someone with a big hammer?

Mystic Uru Metal AA,acts as a level 4 strength attack, may make one additional attack, well, let's see here, Thor has a 7 strength, 7 is bigger than 4(and to think I always complained about outcome based education), I wont go over how lame the AA(alchoholics anonymous) specials are, you've heard everyone else on the net doing that, so in place of all the insults I'd just like to make it known that I really like pie.

Airborne Avenger AG, avoid one attack... this is easily the most dissapointing card in the game, not in the sense that it's a bad card, but that everytime I'm victoriously dropping my Nova Bust on Thor, this card dissapoints me to no end, because it's always used to make me feel like a complete idiot for wasting nova Burst on a character with an AG special. Is this a good card, absolutely, put between 1 and 4 in your deck and make sure that your opponent knows they are in there, now watch him hesitate to attack you with anything.

Protect Teammate AC, attack made on teammate is now made on thor who may defend it... ok, let's say that there is someone on your team that you want to keep alive even more than Thor(yeah... Right). The good news is, Thor may defend this misdirected attack the bad news is you have waste another, yes another card to defend an attack that anyone on thor's team should be able to defend in the first place. Waste of space, put this in your deck, if you are one of the following, A) Stupid B) Self Destructive C) Stupid D) Fran Drescher E) Stupid. Nuff Said.

Viking Pyre IG, remove any cards from Thor's draw pile into dead pile. Reshuffle draw pile... Thank god, A card that gets rid of all those specials for longshot, weather longshot is knocked out or not, but that's a different hero review, back to viking pyre, This card is great, It simply lets you get rid of useless stuff(like specials for Ko'd heroes) that you could be drawing instead of Web Headed Wizard. yes you should put this in your deck, DUH!!!

Gift Of The Gods DS, choose one thor special from draw pile, Place in hand. Reshuffle draw pile... This one is hard to analyze, on one hand, you get to stall for a turn and you get to choose one special of Thor's from the draw pile COOL!!! on the other hand, this could be the last thor special you draw, uh oh wasted turn. I put one of these in my deck and hope for the best. But it's really up to you.
