Hey, I'm Anthony. I moved to New York City in Spring of 2000. I'm loving it very much despite what's happened in the last several months. I am a real person-with real struggles and real issues. I struggle every day to make things come together and it's not always easy. For the last couple of years, I've been doing some growing up and learning about myself in so many different ways. I'm creating this website to share my story. And I like making friends, wherever, whenever, who are willing to share their lives with me. Crazy, right? I'm not making this website so that you can get in my pants although I'm not a prude, I don't need a website to get sex. Who does? Noone needs to beg for sex. Anyone can get that-online, at the bar, on the corner, anywhere. I'm looking for something a little more meaningful. I was borne and raised all over the world (France-5 years as a child, Germany-5 years as a youngadultand for several months in 1999, Japan-6 years when I was a teenager). My parents weren't in the military-just doing business abroad. It made for a good experience and I got to see a lot of the world. My foreign language skills aren't perfect but I can speak German pretty fluently and can converse some in Japanese. My French is terrible! I know, I know- that's too bad. I went to undergraduate school in Houston, TX(ugh!). It's not that I hate Houston-but it's pretty much a cultural wasteland. I mean, I've visited recently and it's better than it used to be, but I'm so glad I got the hell out of there. For the last years of the millenium, I was living in Chicago and really loved it there. I went to graduate school at the University of Chicago and worked and livedin the Windy City till the Fall of 1999. Yet, in the winter of 1999, after going through some really rough times and some soul searching, I had the opportunity to travel and work in Leipzig, Germany as an assistant to my friend Damien, a ballet dancer. It was such a great period in my life and Damien was a great companion in Europe. I met so many wonderful people and really got to see that life was more than what I had been experiencing. It's a really big world that we live in and in a way it was a homecoming. Since I had lived in Berlin as a child, my German came back quickly. |

Germany was a real eye-opener and a real breath of fresh air. In some ways, it saved my life. But alas, I had to return to the US to make some money and get started with what you might call a 'normal' life. I am now living with in NYC after living with my parents (here's a picture of them) in East Windsor, New Jersey (it's near Princeton). I work as a Human Resource consultant at an Investment Bank down on Wall Street.

I'm 26 years old, 1/2 Mexican and 1/2 French, 5'8, 155 lbs, black hair, black eyes and a 30 in waist (does this matter?). I enjoy sports and am generally athletic-when I was in college, I was on my college crew team and have since continued to row by teaching rowing part time while I lived in Chicago. I went to the Gay Games in Amsterdam in 1998. It was the greatest experience and it really helped me to get my body in shape.
