This page is very much "under construction" (and probably always will be) And if you want to see a bigger (but not better?!) photo of me, HERE is one that I got someone to take of me, at work.
I originaly signed up with Geocities, and created this page on 08/26/98 08:31:52, but I still have not finished it yet. Wonder if I ever will?
My interests are:
Craft, Patchwork quilting (and I seem to talk about this even more than doing it - $%**#@ mailing lists!), Crochet,4 wheel driving, messing about in boats - not that I get to do much of that here in Canberra ;-(, and anything else involving "the great outdoors" - especially if it also involves being near or, preferably in/on the sea (we used to have a boat or 2, but we don't live close to the sea anymore, grrrrr). I am also interested in anything else that takes my fancy at the time...
Eventually I will add some more pages to this website, I have plans to include some stuff about my family (Husband, 2 kids, 2 cats), and some of my craft projects (when/if I can get some pictures ... er - not sure 'get' is the right word now ... should really say "when I finally get around to taking some more pictures of them to put here" - lol), and a few of the poems that I have written (there are a couple on my "other" page, I will add more when I get around to typing them up). And maybe even some links, or something, to do with science, now that I am working as a science assistant at a high school.
But who knows what else will eventually end up here.

Are you sick of the sugary sweet, cutsie pie "Sunbonnet Sue" quilt blocks? Well, just for those who are (there has been much discussion of this on the Patchwork/Quilting mailing list I am on, recently ... well, a while ago now - but it was "recently" when I drew the thing and put this link here)... I have created an ALTERNATIVE ... Click on this link and find out WHO?
This is my design for a Quilt that can be made from sig scquares, and the bits of (used to be blue, then yellow, now I think they have changed to yellow and blue) fabric that come with them. Warning - I have not actually made this "quilt", so who knows if it actually works!
The above link is the one I am now "famous" for!!! - it, and my name, appear in the March issue of Down Under Quilts magazine!!!
This is a design I drew (or should that be 'scribbled') up for a patchwork quilted vest.

I put my banner thingy down here, instead of right up at the top, because sometimes the colour of the banner clashes horribly with the stuff on the top of the page (I guess I don't mind having this little bit of "junk mail" on my page - after all they do give us the space for free ;-)
