Pastors of Bear Creek Baptist Church
1851-1962

There are twenty three men that are listed as pastoring the Bear Creek Baptist Church.  This information came from the records of the various Baptist Associations minutes taken at the annual association meetings.  No records exist for 14 years, therefore it is possible that there were other pastors besides those listed.  See footnote at bottom.

During the period 1857 through 1863 inclusive, no records are available.  However it is likely that the Rev. W. M. Fancher or the Rev. W. R. Ward or the Rev. Jonathan W. Sims may have also served as Pastors of the church during  some portion of this period.

It is also likely that the Rev. Marcus Alonzo Carr also served in the capacity of Pastor at some time during a period when the church was without a regular Pastor.
