A Book for Children
Memoirs of  M.A. Malik (1913-96) written in Bengali. He was born in 
the village of
Elahabad, Comilla, Bangladesh. After his graduation  
from Comilla Victoria College in 1938, he joined the Postal 
Department, working in Assam, East Pakistan and  Bangladesh. He
wrote his memoirs
Halkahta (1988-90) and Chiriakhana (1993-96) 
on  request. In his memoirs he tells us of himself and about the life 
of the rural people in Bangladesh during the past one hundred years.
