Summary: The Avengers are in Viet Nam to bury the Swordsman and to investigate Mantis' past. The Slasher, a hoodlum in a razor-covered suit, assumes that the A-Team are after him. He seeks protection from the local heroes known as The Titanic Three.

The Avengers are Hawkeye, Iron Man, Thor and the Vision. The Scarlet Witch appears under the tutelage of Agatha Harkness. The Titanic Three are the Crimson Dynamo, the Titanium Man and the Radioactive Man.

Continuity: The Mantis story is fascinating, but here can be treated as a framing sequence for the in-one encounter between the A-team and the Three. If you're wondering, the hooded figure who kicks the Dynamo in the chops is Mantis' father, Libra. Thunderbolts continuity will bring us back to the Celestial Madonna storyline before it's over.
