Summary: Wanda is lured into a trap concocted by ancient, parasitic beings. When Captain America and She-Hulk fail to rescue her, it’s Hawkeye, Mockingbird and the Great Lakes Avengers to the rescue! The Vision has a significant role, and Dr. Pym, Tigra, U.S. Agent, the Wasp and Wonder Man appear.

Continuity: Hawkeye leads the GLA into battle for the first time. For Thunderbolts continuity skip the last page of "Friend", and the Starfox (page 9), homeless shelter (page 11) and Dr. Horton (pages 16-17) interludes from "Ancient".

Comments: Creator John Byrne draws great faces, but his story is sluggish and wordy. The humor that seems natural with the misfit GLA never develops.
