|February 3,1998 -- Fourplay, Warner Bros.' contemporary jazz group that launched it's career with a chart topping, solid gold debut in 1991 followed by three best-selling albums (including a "Greatest Hits"), is back in the studio to work on their fourth record of original material for Warners. Group founders Bob James (keyboards), Nathan East (bass), and Harvey Mason (drums), are joined this time by guitarist Larry Carlton, who is stepping in for the group's founding guitarist Lee Ritenour. Ritenour, who recently launched his own record label, had conflicting commitments which resulted in his withdrawal from Fourplay at this time.|
