Why we made this page
When we first made this page in high school back in 1997, our intentions were to make a page that someone would actually visit. Having matured our intentions have changed. This page is made so that people can learn about a very overlooked president and have fun doing it. We know that history (and U.S. presidents) can be a subject that is very boring to learn. We just thought with a little bit of thinking and creativity, that we could at least make one part of history a little bit funner   (yeah I know it's not a word) or more enjoyable to learn.

The Authors

Ed Holden
Ed is a junior at the University of Michigan-Flint.  His goal is to graduate from Med School some time before he turns 30.  He is currently an aid at a hospital, so he can help out others and get some experience in the medical business.  He is currently 20 years old and graduated salutitorian from Dryden High School in Dryden, Mi. Ed enjoys a lot of stuff (too much to mention) but he is really intersted in his girlfriend and playing guitar in his band.

Mark Ureel
Mark is a currently a junior at Oakland University, where he is working on his degree in History for Secondary Education (minor in spanish). His goal is to teach history at the high school level, the way he teaches people about Calvin Coolidge, fun and actually interesting. He is currently 20 years old (soon to be 21 woo hoo!) and graduated with honors from Dryden High School in the very small town of Dryden, Mi. He is currently an assitant manager at the Textbook Outlet  in Auburn Hills, Mi.  Mark has a lot of interests too, but he doesn't like mentioning them all. He is also a published poet.
