Glad you stoped by. Cowboy Clay is a name I got when I was younger by the city slickers that didn't understand my country life. My real name is Clayton E. Graham. I am a 40 year old country boy raised in Modesto, California. After High School I join the Army for four years. I spent most of my term in Bad Hersfeld, Germany. About a year and a half after I got out of the Army, I moved to Puyallup, Washington. I was stuck in the Seattle area for 9 long wet years. I now live in Yakima, Washington where the weather is nice. I moved to the Yakima area in March 1998. I bought a home on 2.3 acres in the West Valley (Gromore) area September 1998 and another .3 acres next door December 2001. I built a small ranch with a rodeo arena. We named the arena, Field of Dreams Arena and started the Gromore Rodeo Association for children and their families.
My wife "Lisa" is 33 years old. We have been married for 10 years. She is from Puyallup, Washington.
My first son "Hank" is 16 years old. He is a hard worker & a big help to me. He loves to Rodeo. He has done Muttin Busting, Barrel raced, Pole bent, & rode calves with the Valley Rodeo Association. Now Hank rodeos here on our ranch with Gromore Rodeo Association.
My daughter "Mandy" is 5 years old. Mandy started to rodeo April 2002 at the age of two here on our ranch with Gromore Rodeo Association. She did Muttin Busting, Barrel racing, Pole benting, Chicken Run, Stick Horse racing, Scrables and more. She loves to rodeo.
My third child was born 11-11-03. His name is Charlie. He does not do very much at this time.
A Special Thanks
I want to thank my brother Ron Palstring. Ron got me back into rodeo,
horses, and the farm life. Ron let me keep my livestock on his "DoMe Ranch"
in Graham, Washington and he has helped me in so many different ways. Ron
also got me to get on line. Thanks Ron for all of your support and
friendship.
