HO Scale slot cars are 1/64 scale electrically-powered cars.  Speeds can reach over 30 mph, which is over 1000 mph scale speed.  Modern HO cars use high-power magnets to help hold them on the track.  The track record on SCCOTTT's 83.5' road course is 2.71 seconds, held by the FSR RO class Wizzard Storm.
