In the house of the second stage the bigger boys and their parent celebrating their last day here before Christmas break. |
|
In the girls’ house, celebrating the high school graduation of the girl on the left. |
On the Discipleship Training School Base, celebrating the graduation of the Counseling School students. |
|
This year was a special year in which I celebrated 20 years
of fulltime mission. 7 years I worked with YWAM, which stands for Youth
With A Mission, and in
Colombia it is called
JuCUM which stands for Juventud Con Una Misión. YWAM is one of the
largest mission organizations which exist completely out of volunteers,
that means that nobody gets paid for the work we do, we all live by
gifts received from churches and friends. The work we do is to glorify
God. |
High in the mountains at an altitude of
1500m / 5000ft close to the equator the weather in Medellín is just
perfect with an average of 22ºC / 70°F, no need of heating or
air-conditioning all year round. |
Thanks a lot for your prayers and support Merry Christmas and a happy New-year 2003 God bless you |
