Okay, not likely what you came for, but now you're stuck with it anyway. Here's a page about me! Isn't that exciting? Okay, lie to me!

Now for stuff you probably didn't want to know about me. I was born August 19th, on what was probably a muggy summer day in North Carolina. Yup, I'm a hick. About a little over a year after I was born, the parents decided they didn't want no hicks for kids, so I found myself in sunny Southern California. Lucky for me, this is where I've opted to stay. Where else could I comfortably wear shorts year round???

So I suppose I should sell you on some of the finer points of me.  I'm a graduate of U.C. Irvine (Goooooo 'Eaters!!!), with a bachelor's degree in Economics, minor in History.  I was on the 5 year plan, mostly because I didn't feel any urgency to actually work for a living.  Me thinks I should've kept that mentality.  Lately all I do is work.  I currently work for a courier company here in Southern California.  No, that doesn't mean I travel on planes carrying suitcases containing eye balls or something.  We're just like a regional mini-UPS, more or less.  But we're better!!!  I get to spend most days barking orders at people, and I gotta tell you, it's better than the alternative.  My day is fairly hectic, and will cover customer service, dispatching, warehousing, data entry, and managerial duties over a normal 8 hour shift.  Thankfully, they're paying me well.  ; )

Down time, now that's something that doesn't exist.  However, when I do have down time, I tend to spend a lot of time on my computer?  Why?  'Cuz after a long day at work, I want something to just do what I tell it to, and not talk back.  ; )  All kidding aside, it's just a way to unwind for me.  Another one of my "habits" is shopping. I absolutely love shopping, and love walking the malls. I've been trying to keep my spending under control a little more these days, and I think it's working. That way, I can spend on more electronic gizmos I'll probably never use. That's the American Way!!! Well, these days the American Way seems more like putting ourselves in major debt via credit cards, but that's another matter altogether.  Beyond that, I am still a bit of a phone person, I like to watch movies, just hang out and have fun.  I play guitar, if you can call it that.  After close to 8 years now of playing for two weeks and not playing for two years, I don't understand why I'm not the second coming of Eric Clapton.  Makes no sense to me!  And any beach time that can be spared is a definite plus.  I miss the beach very badly.  If you happen to find it, please tell it to come home.  Oh, and occasionally I write as well.  To check that out, click here.
