While the area where we live is a fairly rural area, there is plenty to do when it comes to professional sports. Should you be in the area in July (use to be in September), the PGA Tour stops here. The BC Open is played at En-joie Golf Club. Fall is also the start of the professional hockey season. 2002 will see the return of American League Hockey to the Binghamton area. The Broome County Veteran's Memorial Arena is now home to the Ottawa Senator's,/a> top farm team, the Binghamton Senators. The Binghamton Mets are an Eastern League affiliate of the New York Mets.
