There is 32 combined years of experience that Paul and I bring to BlueChip Farms. We are committed to producing the best quality that maintain the special qualities of this breed. I maintain memberships in the following clubs: Staffordshire Terrier Club of America (STCA), and Mid-Atlantic Kennel Club.  Being active in many Amstaff organizations, both in the USA and Europe, keeps me in touch with the growing interest in our breed.  Those positions currently are: STCA - Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) delegate, National Show Coordinator, National Show Chairperson for 2000, National Sweeps judge 2001, Past-Secretary (FAST), President of the Mid-Atlantic KC, previous Italian liaison for Working Amstaff magazine and local area (Md, Va. & NC) breed rescue contact. I enjoy sharing ideas and experiences with fellow breeders and newcomers alike. Paul provides us more business sense to keep my feet on the ground and after years of observations and occasional handling he has a keen sense of a "good dog"! Having been a Senior All Breed Judge for UKC for several years, and a certified conformation evaluator for FAST events.  I now have my AKC license to judge Amstaffs.  I have trained horses and dogs, and conduct classes in obedience.

Our bloodline is based on the Ruffian Line. Which is one of the top winning bloodlines to date. The Ruffian line has won at all levels: including All Breed Best in Shows, National Specialties, Regional Specialties and Obedience titles. We bred our foundation bitch Sunrise Red Keeper, OFA (SAM) to our own Ch. Ruffian Jack of York, OFA and produced three champions and one continues on to be multi-titled in obedience and agility receiving the highest honor from the STCA - the Registry of Honor (ROH).  Jack's second breeding produced the 1992 Chicago Regional Specialty and Supported Entry  Winner's Bitch Ch. Perdues Ante Up, OFA.  Jack and Sam's first litter also produced Ch. Perdues Blaze of Glory, OFA.  Blaze's first litter to Ch. WhiteRock Perry the Fridge, OFA, CD, ROH produced 3 champions, one being an International and Vice World Champion winner in 1995 Brussels Belgium.  We have finished over 20 champions, several owner handled from the progency above.

We expect to produce the "total dog" - a well balanced dog, correct to AKC standard conformation while maintaining soundness in mind and body as well as correct temperament.
