Who Are We?


    We are people like yourself...

  • Who have discovered where we can find God's grace
    and its power for living! We have also found a home:
    a community of people who care for each other, pray
    for each other and give each other the opportunity to
    discover and share our gifts and growing pains.

  • Who need our "spiritual batteries" recharged at least
    once a week to get ourselves going in the right direction
    once again.

  • Who need to learn to read and study the Bible! Like you,
    we are confronted daily with a barrage of conflicting
    words and opinions. Above the din, we need to hear the
    Word of God.

  • Who need people! We all pride ourselves on our self-reliance,
    but sooner or later we have to admit it: We need to be a
    part of a caring community. Just like you!


Our Mission

We are committed to spreading the Word of God and the Promise
of Christ to all who will listen and to live our lives as
as best we can according to the teachings and example of Jesus
Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

Our Philosophy

We believe that faith and salvation remain a matter of
conscience between each human being and God.

Our Church

As a church we are concerned with the needs of the growing
community around us. We intend to be a place of worship and
Christian fellowship where friends from any Christian background
will feel welcome.

Enduring traditions from our 75 year history help to guide us,
but we retain a strong desire to be relevant as Christians
in today's world.

Our moderate Baptist tradition allows us to be flexible
in worship and fellowship. The Baptist principles of
religious freedom and support of missions are very
important to us, as is the autonomy of the individual Baptist
church.
