Thomas C. Raikes born est.1815 died October
21, 1892 and is buried at the Peterson Cemetery,  Lewis County West Virginia.

Mary Susan Woody Raikes born Feb 26, 1819 - died August 25, 1894

Buried: Rock Cave Cemetery, Rock Cave,West Virginia.

The 1860 Upshur County Census.

William was captured at Centerville, WV (Now Rock Cave, WV)and was taken
to Andersonville, Georgia where he died. (Reference Personal Diary of
Ressie Raikes).
 8.  Thomas Raikes 1854-1901

9.  John Henry Raikes wife Cordelia Rebecca (Carter) Raikes

John was born Dec. 23, 1844 in Buckingham, Botetourt  Co. VA. 
Died Aug. 7 1936 and is buried at Meadowdale Cem. Fairmont, Marion Co, WV. 
Cordelia (Carter) Raikes was born Sept. 23, 1857 in Harrison Co. VA.
She died July 26, 1936, and is buried at the Meadowdale Cem.

3.  Hoy Jasper Raikes, born July 17, 1885.  He married to Ressie May Phillips.
