These are pictures of the objects that remind me of Ghana.


This little goat was typical of the many, many "poor man's cows" that we saw everywhere.

This is what we dubbed the "Ghanian national chair" because it was extremely common. Unfortunately, they were also fairly uncomfortable- especially for drumming.



This is my favorite billboard. It is typical of Ghanian advertising-just a little cheesy. Notice the baby that Malta Guinness" is good for."



And...

This is the distilling device used for making incredibly strong Akatishi(ah-ka-ti-she). Akatishi is the locally-distilled spirit of Kopeyia made of (more or less) just sugar and water.
