Some People say that the Millennium Dome is the biggest waste of public money ever. All I can say to that is that they can't have see it yet. Some things should not just be valued in terms of money - The Dome is one of those things. Being built in Greenwich in London's Docklands and standing right on the Greenwich Meridian, the Millennium Dome will house the celebrations and exhibition to welcome the new Millennium.

I see this emerging structure everyday as I go to work, and even though it is far from complete, it fills me with awe. This place is going to be incredible.

The Daily Mirror has a live webcam broadcasting an updated picture of the Dome's construction very half an hour as seen from the top of the Canada Tower at Canary Wharf. I created the image below to help explain what you are seeing. Click the map to go to the live WebCam.
