Stitches-
----------picot (p) - 5/8'' space between ds stitches
----------double hitch stitch (ds) - basic 2-part tatting and Cro-Tat stitch
----------Basic Ring (R) - 4ds, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, close Ring.
--------------------This Basic Ring pattern will be slightly adapted within the directions to
---------------------allow for joinings at the first and last p of each R.
----------Join (stands for p and next ds) - insert hook into specified p, pull up loop to stand
----------for 1st half of next ds, then make 2nd half of ds

Directions
Ch5,
R = 4ds, join in 5th ch back from hook, 3ds more, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, close R,
Ch5,
sl st into last p of R just made,
Ch5,
R = 4ds, join in last p of prev. R just made (same place as the sl st was made), 3ds more, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, close R,
Repeat to desired length, end with R as per pattern, Ch5, sl st into last p of R just made, Finish off.
