This page and the next 2 pages are in memory of all the cats that have come into my life and are no longer with me

Precious Friend

What would I do without you
My precious, furry friend?...
Part mischief, but all blessing,
And faithful to the end!

You look at me with eyes of love:
You never hold a grudge...
You think I'm far too wonderful
To criticize or judge.

It seems your greatest joy in life
Is being close to me...
I think God knew how comforting
Your warm, soft fur would be.

I know you think you're human,
But I'm glad it isn't true...
The world would be a nicer place
If folks were more like you!

A few short years is all we have:
One day we'll have to part...
But you my pet, will always have
A place within my heart.

This Cat Looks Just Like My Milo

Goodbye Milo

1991-2000

Milo had to be put to sleep Friday March 31. 2000. He was 9 years old. It was cancer of the palate & the vet said there was no hope. I will really miss him. I have had him since he was a tiny kitten. I found him & his brother Max in my garage one morning. Sandi was lonesome so i kept them so he would have company. Sandi was so big & they were so tiny...it was funny seeing them play. You could not see the kittens, Sandi would cover them with all his fur. He was the one who would cry out when playing, he never hurt them but they played rough. Now all three have gone on to the Rainbow Bridge. I know they are up there playing together once again.

For You Milo

GOD KNEW

God knew that you were suffering.
That the hills were hard to climb
So He gently closed your eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine."

In tears i watched you sinking
I watched you fade away
My heart was surely broken
You fought so hard to stay

But when i saw you sleeping
So peaceful, free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God called you home

"The Rainbow Bridge"

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its
Many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge
there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush
green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to
this place. There is always food and warm
spring weather. The old and frail animals are young
again. Those who are maimed are made whole
again. They play all day with each other.

There is only one thing missing. They are not with
their special person who loved them on Earth. So,
each day they run and play until the day comes when
one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose
twitches. The ears are up! The eyes are staring!
And this one suddenly runs from the group! You
have been seen, and when you and your special friend
meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace.
Your face is kissed again, and you look
once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never
again to be seperated.
