Sally's Wyoming Star... I am so hooked on foundation
piecing on paper that I have been looking for traditional large patterns
that I can convert to this technique. Many times this means breaking the
larger pattern down into smaller, more manageable sections. I needed a
star pattern for Sally from Wyoming for a birthday block swap and wanted
to make it by foundation piecing so I could make it a very accurate 12
inches. I looked through many star patterns and found this one. It is perfect
for foundation piecing. I hope you like it too. I made the star area in
mine from a dark green forest print with silver metallic and the background
was a white on white vine. |
