CEDAR FAIR PARKS

CEDAR POINT
1999- Confirmed:  In addition to the rehab of the marina, and the addition to the breakers hotel, the peanuts characters will be stopping by.  Thats right, Camp snoopy will make its debut in the Gemini midway and will contain the points 13th scream machine to be called Woodstocks Express, a 31 ft tall custom vekoma roller skater junior coaster.
2000- Semi Confirmed: A high ranking official has revealed that CP will renovate the beachfront from Disaster Transport to Oceana into a Boardwalk type area.  It will include shops, food, and entertainment.  This could be the location of a CCI recreation of the old Cyclone or a new Dark Ride.  A coaster will be located behind Frontier town with a where the ferris wheel currently sits.  Morgan is believed to be the designer with Arrow and B&M possibilitys.  It should be a BIG(300ft+) recordbreaker.

Dorney Park
1999- Confirmed:  Dorney will be receiving Dominator.  An S&S Space shot, Turbo drop combo with a third leg for support.  Not sure whats up with that third leg.  Sounds like their up to something.
2000- Rumors:  An inverted coaster is expected  this year.  A B&M standup is also possible.  Also look for a Camp Snoopy in the near future.

Knotts Berry Farm
1999- Confirmed:  Ghost Rider.  A CCI wooden coaster that will be the biggest in Californina.  Opened on Dec 8 to rave reviews from employees and thrillseekers alike.
2000-  Look for the worlds tallest water ride similar to CP's snake river falls.

Worlds of Fun
1999- Confirmed: CP's go carts are headed their way.
2000- Rumors:  A B&M inverted coaster is expected. It may have a similar layout to CP's Raptor. A turbo drop may also be on the drawing board.  A Camp Snoopy is also on the drawing board.

Valleyfair!
1999- Confirmed:  An Arrow wild mouse coaster is coming for next year.
2000- Rumors:  A smaller Power tower type S&S ride.

SIX FLAGS PARKS

Six Flags America
1999- Confirmed: The joker's jinx will make its debut.  A premier rides launched Mad Cobra clone that will include 4 inversions.  A Vekoma Invertigo will also be constructed taking you upside down 6 times.
2000- Rumor:  A superman: The Ride of Steel may be on its way.

Six Flags Astroworld
1999- Confirmed:  A vekoma SLC will be coming to astroworld next year.  It is rumored to have7 inversions, but will most likely have the standard 5.  To be called "Serial Thriller"
2000- Rumor:

Six Flags Darien Lake
1999- Confirmed:  Superman:The ride of steel.  A 208ft Intamin hyper coaster will travel at speeds of 70mph and be the biggest investment in the parks history.
2000- Rumor:  ProbProbably the next park to get a big make over.  Lokk for a possible jokers jinx clone.

Six Flags Elitch Gardens
1999- Confirmed: A vekoma boomerang will be added to the park. 
2000- Rumor: A record breaking hyper coaster by Giovanola is rumored.  An S&S prototype is also possible.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas
1999- Confirmed: The Poltergeist, another Mad Cobra clone will appear.  A SUPER Boomerang coaster will be coming, possibly 200ft tall.
2000- Rumor: A Giovanola hyper coaster is rumored.

Six Flags Great Adventure
1999- Confirmed:  Medusa, A B&M sitdown coaster will not be the first of its kind.  Riders will sit in elevated seats similar to Raging Bull but with shoulder harnesses.  Two family coasters are also coming.  The park is now claiming that they have 13 coasters which I personally see as a bunch of crap.  They will also be getting a Huss topspin and Chance chaos.
2000- Confirmed:  A hurricane Harbor is slated for construction.

Six Flags Great America
1999- Confirmed:  Raging Bull, a B&M speed coaster that will be in a twister layout.  202ft tall and over 5,000ft long, this coaster will be the biggest thing to hit Chicago in quite some time.
2000- Rumor: A mad cobra clone is possible.  You may see a version of this or Mr.Freeze at every SF park within the next few years.

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom
1999- Confirmed:  A new water ride is in the works.
2000- Rumor:  Project X.  Possibly a launched B&M sitdown coaster similar to Hul at IOA that could be 150ft tall.  The park may remove T2 in lieu of a Batman the Ride clone.  I think this is most likely.

Six Flags Magic Mountain
1999- Confirmed:  It seems that a hyper may be put off for a year, or late in 99.  A rehab to Bugs Bunny land is the only thing mentioned in the season pass renewal forms.
2000- Rumor:  The Giovanola hyper is very likely for this year with possible record numbers for height and length.

Six Flags Marine World
1999- Confirmed:  A CCI Roar clone is on its way.  Apparently it will be a wilder design.
2000- Rumor: Could be the location of Busch Gardens Drachen Fire.

Six Flags Georgia
1999- Confirmed: Georgia Scorcher, a B&M standup with three inversions.
2000- Rumor:  Look for a hyper coaster either in 2000 or 2001.

Six Flags Texas
1999- Confirmed: A B&M Batman the ride clone.  Yippee.
2000-  Rumor: A Giovanola hyper coaster is possible.  I would look for a B&M standup.  Probably around 125ft tall.  Working title is Poison Ivy. A Superman the Escape clone may also be in the works.

Six Flags St. Louis
1999- Confirmed:  Another Huricane Harbor will make its debut next year.
2000- Rumor:  A B&M standup is most likely on its way.  Depending on who you talk to, it will be the size of Riddlers revenge or SFOG's Georgia Scorcher.  Freefall may be on its way to a smaller Premier park, which would put SFSTL in line for a Giant Drop.  A woody like SFGAm Viper is possible.

Busch Gardens Tampa
1999- Confirmed: Gwazi, a dualing wooden coaster from GCI set to open next spring
2000- Rumor: ??

Busch Gardens Willamsburg
1999- Confirmed: Apollo's Chariot, a B&M out and back speed coaster that will feature a drops totaling over 800ft.
2000- Rumor:  Drachen Fire is most definetly not going to open again.  It reportedly on sale for 5 million.  A Medusa style ride could be possible for 2001.

Paramounts Canada's Wonderland
1999- Confirmed: The Fly, a Mack Wild Mouse coaster.
2000- Rumor:  Look for a Volcano the blast coaster if they can work the kinks out of the one at Kings Domain.

Paramounts Carowinds
1999- Confirmed: Top Gun, A B&M inverted coaster that has a layout inspired by BGT Montu.  Looks very intense.
2000- Rumor:  First Drop has reported that Carowinds has a big coaster project for 2000.  I would guess a CCI woody or a hyper coaster from either Morgan or Intamin.

Paramounts Great America
1999- Confirmed: A Kidzville area is in the building process.
2000- Rumor: An announcement is expected soon on this Vekoma laydown coaster.

Paramounts Kings Dominion
1999- Confirmed: An expansion of the hurricane Reef water park.
2000- Rumor: A major coaster is most likely in the works, possibly a Morgan Hyper.  Look for a drop zone similar to PKI's in the near future also.

Paramounts Kings Island
1999- Confirmed:  Face/Off, a Vekoma Invertigo will finally give PKI its first inverted coaster.  The states tallest drop zone is also being built.
2000- Confirmed: Son of Beast.  The worlds tallest fastest wooden rollercoaster which will include a vertical loop!
