My first season with Ingleburn RSL was in 2004/05 (7th Grade). We won the
premiership that season and were put up to 5th grade for the 2005/06 season. We
again made the Grand Final in 2005/06, only to be beaten. We remained in 5th
Grade for the following season (2006/07) and lost in the Semi- final.
After losing both opening bowlers for the 2007/08 season we were put down to
6th Grade. We finished 2nd in the competition and went on to win the Grand
Final (without raising a sweat).
We finished the 2008/09 season in equal second place on points but actually finished third on "countback". We won the semi-final convincingly but unfortunately we produced, arguably, our worst batting performance in the final(except for Chunk and David)and lost to the Minor Premiers.
We are all looking forward to season 2009/10 with, at this stage, all players saying they will front up again (except maybe for David ELLIOTT) who may be joining the Army).
