WHAT IN THE HECK DOES LEDBETTER MEAN?!

Okay, one man can only take so many inquiries into what the name Ledbetter means. I mean since we formed this band a couple of months ago people have been coming up and whining at me "Matt, what does Ledbetter mean?", "Gee, Matt, that's a funny band name. Where'd you come up with that.", "Dude, that band name sucks!" and the like. Well, here you go, Internet-Land, this is what Ledbetter means.
Once upon a time, long long ago (about 1940) there lived a bluesman named Leadbelly. He rocked. And because he rocked, a bunch of really cool 90's delinquents who had a band named Nirvana decided to cover Leadbelly's song "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" for their "Unplugged in New York" album. A sort-of Nirvana fan and aspiring musician named Matt Poland heard this song, thought it was cool, and decided to look up this Leadbelly fellow on that amazing new-fangled invention called the Internet. He did, and found out that Leadbelly wasn't this bluesman's real name, but a stage name. His real name was Huddie Ledbetter. Matt, an aspiring musician who just happened to be looking for a cool band name, thought that 'Ledbetter' would make quite the band name. And so when he had a band, he named it Ledbetter.

So children, the moral of this story is:
QUIT ASKING MATT WHAT THE BAND'S NAME MEANS!!!!
